The postnatal journey
The postnatal period is the time after a uterine-holding body gives birth. At Salama, we are dedicated to providing wraparound, family-centered support for new parents.
Our staff is trained is ready to support families through the following:
immediate postpartum (within 1-4 weeks after birth)
infant adoption and surrogacy
the duration of the 4th trimester (1 month to 3 months after birth )
bereavement
abortion
