Hello! We are Doula Leah (she/her) and Doula Shay! Our paths first crossed in undergrad at the Mecca, Howard University. Since then, we've both pursued our passions for birthwork, advocacy, and empowering Black and Brown folks with female reproductive systems. Today, we're both certified full-spectrum doulas, lactation consultants, and placenta encapsulation specialists based in the DC/MD/VA area.

Now, we are partnering to launch the very first Black-owned, post-natal wellness center in the DMV! Our melanated metropolis needs a safe space where supportive, competent, and compassionate teams help growing families navigate the 4th trimester.
